Privacy policy
Phonics Fox is run by Lachlan Kofoed (sole trader) in Queensland, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Email address and name when you check out (collected by Stripe)
- Payment details — handled by Stripe; we do not store your full card number
- Order details (which pack you bought and when)
- Your email address, signup date and optional email-updates preference when you request the free sample
- Emails you send to [email protected]
- Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited (if analytics are added later)
How we use it
- To take payment and deliver your PDF download
- To answer support questions and fix problems with an order
- To meet legal and accounting requirements
The free sample downloads immediately after signup; no email delivery service is connected yet. If you separately choose email updates, we may send occasional pack news and learning ideas when that service is available. We will not send marketing to people who did not opt in. You can withdraw consent or request deletion by emailing [email protected].
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
- Stripe — payment processing (see Stripe's privacy policy)
- Cloudflare — website hosting and secure storage of free-sample signups in Workers KV; data may be processed outside Australia
- Any email provider we use to send download links or reply to you
These providers only get what they need to do their job for us.
Storage and security
Order and download checks happen on Cloudflare Pages Functions. We use HTTPS and keep access to admin tools limited. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable care with your information.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed for support, tax and legal reasons, then delete or de-identify them when they are no longer required. Free-sample signup records are kept until you request removal or we no longer need them for the sample list and any updates you opted into. We review the list periodically and remove records no longer needed.
Your choices
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email [email protected].
Children
Our products are for parents, carers and teachers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Purchases should be made by an adult.
